GSDF operates a modern non-profit governance architecture of separated and balancing powers — a Board, a Supervisory Board and a Secretariat — supported by seven cross-regional specialized committees.

GSDF is guided by an experienced leadership team and seven specialized committees. The Board of Directors, the highest decision-making body, comprises former officials, senior diplomats, Nobel laureates and sustainability experts.

The Board of Supervisors is fully independent from the Board and the executive team, auditing project funding, reviewing activity compliance, monitoring disclosure to donors and issuing public compliance reports.

Seven cross-regional committees cover academic research, project delivery, awards review, youth development, multilateral cooperation and global communications — the top-tier platforms for GSDF professional and layered global operations.
